INTENSE CASES. REAL HEALING. LASTING CHANGE.

I’m known for taking on the cases others often feel unequipped to hold.

People of all faiths, spiritual paths, and walks of life are welcome here.

Healing is deeply personal. Whole Soul Therapy creates space for people to explore trauma, emotional pain, identity, meaning, and spiritual questions without pressure, judgment, or agenda.

Whether spirituality is central to your life, something you’re uncertain about, or something connected to pain itself, therapy begins with meeting you where you are.

REAL HEALING MAKES ROOM FOR THE WHOLE HUMAN EXPERIENCE.

Healing Is Not About Pretending the Past Did Not Happen

Sometimes people spend years trying to push through what their mind and body have never truly had the chance to process.

Trauma can leave people feeling stuck in survival patterns that affect far more than emotions alone, shaping the nervous system, relationships, confidence, performance, physical well-being, and sense of connection to life itself. Even when someone appears functional on the outside, internally they may still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or constantly on alert.

EMDR therapy helps the brain and nervous system process experiences that remain unresolved, allowing healing to move beyond insight alone. As the nervous system begins releasing what it has been carrying, many people experience a growing sense of clarity, emotional freedom, stability, and renewed connection to themselves and their lives.

Whole Soul Therapy approaches this work with warmth, steadiness, and genuine hope for what healing can make possible. For Jacob Bryant, that hope is deeply personal. His own journey through trauma, loss, service, and healing shaped the heartfelt way he now walks alongside others through difficult seasons of life.

Survival was never meant to become your permanent home.

Areas of Focus

Life experiences affect emotional well-being, the nervous system, relationships, identity, spiritual life, and the ability to feel fully present in everyday life.

Healing is rarely one-dimensional.

EMDR for Intense Trauma

Many people seeking this work have spent years surviving beneath levels of overwhelm, fear, pressure, emotional pain, or internal disconnection that others may never fully see. Some have already spent years in therapy, learning to cope while still feeling as though something deeper remains unresolved underneath it all.

EMDR therapy helps the brain and nervous system process experiences that were emotionally stuck, allowing painful memories, fears, and survival patterns to become integrated rather than continually relived. As healing unfolds, many people experience profound shifts in emotional freedom, self-trust, connection, and the ability to move through life with a greater sense of peace, presence, and possibility.

Spiritually Based EMDR

Some people want therapy to make space not only for emotional healing, but also for spirituality, meaning, purpose, and the deeper questions that shape how they experience life. Rather than separating those parts of the human experience, spiritually based EMDR allows them to be explored openly and naturally within the healing process.

EMDR creates the opportunity for healing to move beyond insight alone, allowing emotionally stuck experiences to become integrated in ways that can profoundly change how a person relates to themselves, their story, and the deeper meaning of their life. Over time, many people experience a greater sense of peace, spiritual clarity, grounding, and connection both internally and in the way they move through the world around them.

EMDR for Religious Trauma

Religious trauma can be difficult to recognize while it is happening, especially when fear, shame, guilt, or emotional pain become deeply intertwined with spirituality, identity, belonging, and a person’s understanding of themselves or the world around them. Even long after someone leaves a harmful environment or belief system, those experiences can continue shaping the nervous system, relationships, self-trust, and the ability to feel fully safe or at peace within themselves.

EMDR offers a different kind of healing process, one that does not rely entirely on having the perfect words for what someone has experienced or carried internally for years. As emotionally stuck experiences become processed and integrated, many people begin reconnecting with a greater sense of clarity, emotional freedom, self-trust, and the ability to relate to themselves, spirituality, or faith in a way that feels more honest, grounded, and safe.

EMDR for Performance

High-pressure environments can place enormous strain on the nervous system over time, especially when performance becomes closely tied to identity, self-worth, responsibility, or the fear of failure. Even highly capable people can find themselves caught in cycles of perfectionism, chronic pressure, self-criticism, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion beneath the surface of outward success.

EMDR helps the brain and nervous system process experiences and patterns that continue creating internal pressure, fear, or interference around performance and self-worth. As healing and integration unfold, many people experience greater confidence, clarity, resilience, adaptability, and the ability to perform from a more grounded and connected place rather than from chronic pressure or survival alone.

Meet Jacob Bryant

A Heartfelt Approach to Healing

During my youth, I navigated significant trauma, including abuse and profound loss. With limited resources at the time, I turned to substances to cope. However, my healing journey truly began when I started serving others. This path led me to become deeply active in my community and church, eventually earning a B.S. in Psychology, and an MSW, and becoming a Licensed Clinician.

I first encountered EMDR in 2012, but I was resistant—it simply felt “too good to be true.” That changed in 2023 when I finally experienced my first session and underwent formal training. The results were life-altering.

Today, I am a certified practitioner in Transformational EMDR under Dr. Andrew Dobo and EMDRIA. My mission is to share the hope and healing EMDR offers. By pursuing advanced certifications and discovering new ways to utilize this modality, I help those who are suffering unlock the door to a more peaceful, productive, and healthy future.
